Welcome to my blog! I am a photographer and a writer with a background in professional landscape gardening for around 12 years and have been posting contents since 2014. One of the prime motives why I have decided to launch Green Thumb Gardener is to build a place where I can reflect and share my experiences to gardeners and plant lovers, writers and readers, landscapers and groundskeepers, and to those born curious.
As an adolescent, I always knew that I am interested in nature. This is probably because I was raised by my grandmother, who was also a dedicated gardener. I can still remember how I transformed derelict spaces, overgrown parking lots, and urban brownfields into a newly-grown yet unsophisticated garden. My experiences before have only left me driven for more learning, which eventually led me to take a Practical Horticulture Skill course.
My job as a landscape gardener for the past decades allows me to possess ideas that are not only limited to decorative plants, flowers, and shrubs but also to create spaces that are unique, functional, and in tune with nature’s harmonies. This work requires lots of practice. Thus, I am willing to share some tips and information about how a particular plant can work structurally in your garden.
